TeamBeam localized to French language and better branding options

Hamburg. Le transfert de gros fichiers is an increasingly important issue in France and in the French-speaking parts of Switzerland. Thus, TeamBeam is now available in French. Every single user can now set the language for his TeamBeam client and his personal data portal, MyTeamBeam, to English, German, or French.

TeamBeam Server customers can now better adapt TeamBeam to their corporate design: Border images and background colors can be configured individually in TeamBeam notifications. This enables our customers to promote TeamBeam as a corporate service, which helps to reinforce their company's brand identity.

After sending files, the sender will be displayed as follows in the receiver's e-mail folder: "Peter Smith - TeamBeam Server Pineapple Inc". The receiver benefits therefore from this simpler and more concise sender identification.

New TeamBeam functions and TeamBeam Public

Hamburg. TeamBeam now automatically accesses your Mac OS X address book when starting. If you type a few characters into the TeamBeam receiver search field, all relevant entries from your address book appear. Furthermore, it has been made possible to send a complete directory: The client temporarily creates a ZIP archive which can easily be expanded. Files can now also be sent to group alias (e.g. "Sales Dep." or "Pre Press").

The new option TeamBeam Public allow easy file transfers directly from a web site. The user starts start a special version of the TeamBeam client right off your web site, without the need to log in - and can immediately send files to you or your colleagues. File transfer has never been easier!

New TeamBeam client

Hamburg. Skalio has released an all-new TeamBeam client for Windows and Mac systems. The totally revised client now offers a much more functional address book, files can now be sent directly to email addresses. Furthermore, users can easily integrate their Outlook address book. Last but not least, the client's graphical user interface has been optimised.

Java Webstart for TeamBeam

Hamburg. It has never been easier to use TeamBeam. The new Webstart feature allows users to start TeamBeam without installing it first. Users just have to click on the Webstart link. The standard Windows installation process is not necessary any longer.

TeamBeam Print – the direct line between the print office and customers

Hamburg. Skalio’s new TeamBeam Print solution is tailored to the requirements of mid-size and large print offices. An icon displayed on the customer’s desktop forms the basis for a direct data transfer channel between the print office and the customer. Files of any size can be dragged to the icon and sent automatically to the print office. This convenient service allows print offices to set themselves apart from the competition. In addition, the print office’s name is always displayed on the customer’s desktop as a ‘Solution Provider.’ This increases customer awareness, thereby improving customer loyalty to the print office.
